Single Phase Three Phase

Single phase supply is generally considered as a Domestic Supply, households, small industrial units but may also be used in larger premises. Please check the power supply you require and input here

KW (HP)

If you only know the Horsepower (HP) of your electric motor there is a simple equation to calculate what this would be in Kw. Multiply your Horsepower by 0.75, egg. 1HP x 0.75 = 0.75kw or 4HP x 0.75 = 3KW

Output Speed

The output speed listed is the nominal speed of the electric motor at 50Hz. If you motor as a similar output speed, for instance 2800 rpm you will need to select 3000. More examples, 750RPM (700,720,725,740). 1000RPM (925,950,975 or similar) 1500RPM (1475, 1425,1400,1380,1450 etc.) and 3000RPM (2800, 2850, 2900, 2825 etc. If you need assistance please call 01384 402410

Mounting & MT

This is where you select the mounting position of your Motor; the foot mounted option is generally a horizontally mounted motor with mounting feet at the base of the motor. If you motor is mounted via a flange this will be a plate at the base of the output shaft. Generally if the flange is large than the body of the motor it will be a B5, if the flange is a similar size to the motor this will be a B14. All of our motors have comprehensive dimensional data sheets for you to check these sizes.

Material

This option is really self-explanatory; a simple way is that an Aluminium Motor will be lighter.

Size

The Frame size dictates the overall size of an Electric Motor and is a European Standard. This number will be on the electric motor nameplate. Another simple way to check is, if your motor is foot mounted, this will be the height from the base to the centre of the shaft.

Three phase supply is generally considered as an Industrial Supply and used to Power Larger Electric Motors. Please check the power supply you require and input here.
